Heraklion, Crete: GreenTeam University of Crete carried out a clean-up action of the outdoor areas of the University of Crete, in the afternoon of April 12, which comes to represent the dynamic return of the team to active action after the pandemic. The day chosen was not a coincidence, as the swearing-in ceremonies that took place on campus left behind their “footprint”; a topic that GreenTeam UOC has positioned itself on in the past through its social networks.

GreenTeam’s action generated a lot of interest, attracting volunteers who collected a lot of trash, making the area clean again for the staff and visitors of the University of Crete in Heraklion. A public information stall was set up at the main entrance of the University, from where volunteers also had the opportunity to participate in a knowledge quiz – thus serving the educational nature of the team.
