About GreenTeam
Η GreenTeam είναι μια ομάδα που γεννήθηκε από μέλη του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης. Ήρθαμε κοντά στην πρώτη διοργάνωση Climathon για το Ηράκλειο (2018) κερδίζοντας το πρώτο βραβείο. We continued together by joining forces with U.Grow, with the aim to cause change – instead of just talking about it.

The GreenTeam team
I am a student at the Department of Materials Science & Engineering and a member of GreenTeam. My role involves ensuring that activities are carried out through external contacts, fulfilling individual objectives and finding opportunities.
My name is Sofulaki Christina and I am in my third year of studies at the Department of Biology of the University of Crete. I have been involved in activism and volunteering for 3 years now. Through GreenTeam I express my artistic concerns by contributing to a better, greener world.
My name is Logizidou Anna and I am a student at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Crete. Volunteering is a very important part of my life. My environmental consciousness pushed me to become a member of the team. I think it is very important for young people to express their opinions and concerns about environmental issues through groups like the Green team.
Hi I'm Alexis, of course my first name is George but I don't use it. I'm a student of the Department of Materials Science and Technology of the University of Crete and I manage the social media of the GreenTeamUoc team. I laugh at every joke I'm told and my motto is carpe diem.
My name is Haris Livas, I come from a village just outside Heraklion, Crete and I am in my third year of the physics department. Hearing every day about the problems that climate change is creating around the world, and especially on our island, I made the decision to take action for a better future.
My name is Paralikis Athos and I am a third year student of the physics department. Despite my limited time, I try to be involved in activities that I am particularly interested in such as the green team. I want to do my best for this world and I believe that my studies and my appetite for travel and knowledge is the best way to achieve this.
My name is Mathioudaki Maria and I am a graduate of the Department of Psychology. I like the sense of change, the evolution that comes through it, as well as taking care of what I love. So through Green Team I can combine both - being part of the change, but also caring for my environment.
My name is Tzeiranidi Anastasia and I am in my third year of studies at the Department of Materials Science and Technology, University of Crete. The sensitivity that characterizes me as a human being, translates into love for the planet and I decided to be active in a group with goals like GreenTeam.
My name is Irini Mimmi and I study at the Biology Department of the University of Crete. I joined the team to contribute to the creation of a more environmentally friendly university and to sensitize the young people around me.
My name is Theoni Papadouraki and I study at the department of "Digital Media and Communication" in Kastoria but I come from Heraklion, Crete. I am a distance member, but I try to combine in my free time with excursions, visual communication through digital arts and all this while watching the splendor of nature.
My name is Hachlaki Elpiniki and I am a graduate of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Crete. For some time now I have been trying to make my everyday life more 'green' and I would love to inspire those around me. The green team gives me this opportunity and I want to make the most of it.
My name is Bourbakis Michael, I am a student at the Physics Department of the University of Crete and I come from Chania. My goal through this team is to put my stones for a better University and more environmentally friendly.
